Grant Thornton Guyana

Guyana, the “land of water” and officially the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, is the only country in South America in which English is the official language. Guyana is bordered by Venezuela, Brazil, and Suriname. The country was a colony of the Netherlands until 1814 and subsequently became a colony of the United Kingdom. As of 1966, Guyana achieved independence from the United Kingdom. Guyana is home to fertile agricultural lands and abundant natural resources. Gold, bauxite, sugar, rice, timber, oil, and shrimp are among its leading exports.

Grant Thornton does not have a physical office in Guyana at this moment. However, the country is serviced by the partners, directors, and staff of our Grant Thornton office in Aruba.
